William Albert nicknamed, as “Billy” Burke is an American actor born on November 25, 1966. Burke was born in Bellingham, Washington. Billy is best known for his roles as Charlie Swan in the film Twilight (2008) and as Gary Matheson in the second season of 24.

Billy Burke was raised in Bellingham. At the age of nine, he began singing and then when he was 15 he joined a band. He continued working for band and studied drama at Western Washington University. His feature film debut was an independent film “Dare Dreamer”. After that he moved to Los Angeles, CA, USA, for pursuing a career in singing and acting. Since then, he has appeared in films such as “Mafia,” “Marshal Law,” and “Roman Paris”. He has also performed at the Annex Theater, New City Festival in Seattle and the A.H.A. Theater.Some of the Television shows that has earned credit to Billy are, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (in the episode “Second Skin”), Party of Five, Gilmore Girls, Karen Sisco, Fringe, Monk and The Closer. He also plays Bobby’s brother Jack on the show My Boys. Billy appeared in the film Feast of Love (2007) and co- starred Selma Blair and Morgan Freeman. Burke also appeared as Charlie Swan in “Twilight” based on the best selling novel of Stephenie Meyer. Billy will reprise his role as Charlie Swan in Twilight’s sequel, New Moon. He also plays Detective Eric Box in the movie Untraceable. Billy is one of the famed faces on the online poker website Hollywood Poker.
