About Gil Birmingham
Gil Birmingham is an American actor born on July 13, 1966 in San Antonio, Texas. His formative years were been spent in moving from one state to another due to the military career of his father. This gave Birmingham the opportunity to grow up in varied locations of Alaska, Hawaii and Kentucky and ending up at California. He was the eldest among his five siblings. Birmingham happens to be an ardent music enthusiast and his aspiration started from the time he was ten years old. It was the time he started learning guitar. He has traveled widely across the country and has played with several bands.
Birmingham graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Administration and got enrolled for petrochemical engineering. From then onwards, started his body building mission and he too part in different body building contests. His sculpted physique earned him his first acting experience in a Diana Ross music video, where I\he featured opposite her. This is the first on camera debut for Birmingham. While he was studying acting, he played the role of Conan the Barbarian at Universal Studios Hollywood. His first appearance in Television was through an episode of Riptide and after that he has starred in about 40 film, television and theater production. The most notable ones include, Twilight, End of the Spear and Dreamkeeper.
