About Kellan Lutz
Kellan Lutz is an American film and television actor born on March 15, 1985 as Kellan Lutz. One of his best-known roles is no other than that of Emmett Cullen in the film Twilight (2008) an adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s popular novel bearing the same name. Lutz was was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, and was raised throughout North Dakota, the Midwest, and Arizona. He was the middle child of six brothers and one sister. After he graduated his high school in California, he moved in order to attend the Chapman University of chemical engineering but he changed his mind after some time and decided to pursue an active acting career. If he had not taken this decision then he would have missed to see what future has in store for him. Lutz has also pursued a modeling career when he was 13 or 14 years old. He was an Abercrombie & Fitch model before he started acting.
Lutz has acted in a series of Television show and had recurring roles on Model Citizens, The Comeback, and smaller roles in episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI: NY, Summerland, Six Feet Under, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Heroes. Kellan has performed on the California stage and hosted the Bravo’s Blow Out. He also appeared in the commercial for Hilary Duff’s fragrance, With Love… Hilary Duff in the year 2006. In 2007, Lutz again appeared in a music video in her single, “With Love”. He also appeared in another music video, “Without You” by Hinder in the year 2008. The same year, he appeared in the miniseries Generation Kill, based on the book by Evan Wright. Stick it; Accepted, and Prom Night are some of the movies he acted in. Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone were his co-stars in the movie “Twilight” and three of them are close friends too. Lutz loves to spend his leisure by taking part in extreme skateboarding, weight training, track, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, racquetball, badminton, snow skiing, snowboarding, dance, and numerous other activities. Lutz have passion for horror films and he wants to perform his own stunts in some movies.
