About Peter FacinelliPeter Facinelli is an American actor born on November 26, 1973. He is best remembered as a star of Fastlane, a FOX’s 2002 television series. Another notable role played by him is that of Carlisle Cullen in Twilight, the film adaptation of the Stephanie Meyer’s bestseller of the same name. He will reprise the role in the upcoming sequels, New Moon and Eclipse. Facinelli was born to Bruna and Pierino Facinelli and descends from a Italian family, who were immigrants from Italy. He was raised in Ozone Park, Queens. He attended St. Francis Preparatory School in Fresh Meadows NY. He studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City.

Facinelli’s debut film was in Rebecca Miller’s Angela released in the year 1995. His TV movie, The Price of Love (1996) received favorable attention of the critics. The other TV rles played by him in An Unfinished Affair, After Jimmy, Calm at Sunset. He also worked in the drama Touch Me (1997) based on Aids theme, along with Amanda Peet and Michael Vartan. Facinelli also acted in Supernova, a sci-fi film in the year 2000 and co-starred Kevin Spacey. He also acted in Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) and Scorpion King (2002). He had recurring roles in the HBO series Six Feet Under in 2004 and a role in the FX original series Damages. He starred with Christian Slater in Hollow Man 2. The film was released direct-to-video in May 2006. He also played the role of Dr. Fitch Cooper in the Showtime dark comedy series Nurse Jackie. Facinelli married Jennie Garth on January 20, 2001 and the couple has three daughters Luca Bella, Lola Ray and Fiona Eve.
