About Robert Pattinson
Robert Thomas Pattinson was on born 13 May 1986. He is an English actor, model and musician. His role as Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of Twilight, based on the Stephenie Meyer’s vampire novel is one of his best-known performances. Robert’s role of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is also another notable performance portrayed by him.
Pattinson was born in London, England to Clare, an employee in the modeling agency and Richard, an importer of vintage cars from the U.S. He has two elder sisters. Pattinson formerly studied in the Tower House School and then in Harrodian School. Initially he started his career with the amateur theatre group called Barnes Theatre Company. After gaining some backstage experience there, he took to acting roles. Pattinson also had an active modeling career and it started when he was twelve years old but it continued for only four years. Pattinson had supporting roles in the Ring of the Nibelungs, a film made in 2004 for Television. He has also worked with director Mira Nair in her film Vanity Fair but his scenes appear on the DVD version. Pattinson will reprise his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight sequels New Moon and Eclipse. Pattinson had the lead roles in the feature films Little Ashes and he played Salvador Dalí in the film. He will appear in a theatre production for producer David Pugh in the year 2010. Pattinson was named as one of the “Sexiest Men Alive” in 2008 by People magazine and in 2009 through a poll conducted by Glamour magazine.
