Taylor Daniel Lautner is an American actor born on February 11, 1992. Lautner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was the son of Deborah, an employee in a software development company and Daniel Lautner, a commercial airline pilot. He has a younger sister named Makena.

The acting career of Lautner started in the year 2001 with a film called “Shadow Fury”, a film made for Television. The Summerland, The Bernie Mac Show, and My Wife and Kids are some of the popular Television series in which Lautner acted. He also appeared in The Nick & Jessica Variety Hour, another well-known TV show. Apart from his acting skill Lautner is also an accomplished martial artist and has studied karate from the age of six to thirteen. He was ranked number one in the world for NASKA’s Black Belt Open Forms, Musical Weapons, Traditional Weapons and Traditional Forms. He also emerged victorious in the Junior World Championships. Lautner put on an exhibition of his Martial Arts skills in the television show” America’s Most Talented Kids”. His role as Shark Boy in the Robert Rodriguez film came as a major break for him in the year 2005.
